There's a reason SoDown sets feel different. Ehren River Wright doesn't just produce bass music, he plays it. Live. With a saxophone in his hands and a sound system at his back.
Coming out of Colorado's bass music capital, SoDown built his name by refusing to choose between heavy and soulful. His GetDown Key organizes his sound into three lanes - SoHeavy, SoGroovy, and SoChill - and a live set will take you through all of them in a single night. One minute you're getting your face melted by a dubstep drop, the next he's riffing a jazz-inflected sax solo over a funk groove that makes the whole room move differently.
His debut album Worlds Beyond covers the full range, from face-melting bass on tracks with Ahee to the emotionally charged vocals of Bailey Flores on cuts like Phantom and All Go Wrong. The influences run deep: Curtis Mayfield, James Brown, William DeVaughn. That's not a typical list for a bass producer. That's the point.
SoDown has played Red Rocks, Coachella, Electric Forest, Sonic Bloom, and more. He's currently on the On The Air Vol 2 Tour hitting cities across the US through spring 2026. His fanbase - The GetDown - is one of the more dedicated communities in the bass world, and for good reason. This is an artist who puts the music and the connection first, every time.
